Balustrade

Balustrading by Flexi-Mesh

The perfect solution for any balustrade!

For clients, architects and builders, the attractiveness of Flexi-Mesh as a material for balustrades is based on its ability to seamlessly integrate with its surroundings. Thanks to its unobtrusive appearance, it can be installed in the most creative locations whilst not compromising on safety. Our range of Flexi-Mesh is fully compliant with current Building Code of Australia (BCA) requirements.

Flexi-Mesh can be used as an infill panel that sits internally within the balustrading posts or can run along the face to create a balustrade net as such. It is just as well suited for uses in private applications as for semi-public or public spaces. Whether in houses, apartments, kindergartens and schools or museums or government offices, whether on bridges or publicly accessible viewpoints – with its combination of functionality and aesthetic understatement, material economy and longevity, Flexi-Mesh is the industry leading product of choice. Flexi-Mesh is a cost-effective system with little to no maintenance expenses required.

The integration of Flexi-Mesh into a specific design concept is simplified not least by the fact that the material can be manufactured in natural stainless or black oxide. There are numerous installation options when using Flexi-Mesh as a balustrade: Flexi-Mesh can be tensioned between steel tubes, bars or ropes, as desired. A further option is the use of pre-strung Flexi-Mesh frames. Pre-assembled in our warehouse, they can be installed on-site in a very short time and only a few steps.

Key Attributes:

  • Minimum tensile breaking loads range from 0.5kN to 20.6kN
  • No maximum panel size – manufactured to meet project criteria
  • All components manufactured from AISI316 stainless steel
